A STUDIO THAT SERVES
For now, Prose is a one-woman show, led by founder and designer Karen. Every project receives a highly personal, hands-on approach, from strategy and brand identity to web design, illustration, creative direction, all the thoughtful details in between, all the way to launch.
In time the studio will grow to include a dedicated content marketer, expanding Prose's ability to support brands beyond their visual foundations. Hint: They just may also be a Prose(n). Until then, you get the full attention of one multidisciplinary creative who genuinely loves doing it all.

Before launching Prose, I spent a decade designing creative experiences for my own workshops and retreats before realizing I loved the design work itself even more. I eventually became a licensed mental health therapist, an experience that has profoundly shaped how I work with design clients.
I care deeply about creating brand identities that feel both timeless and alive—where every detail serves a functional purpose while contributing to a cohesive visual world.
My work goes beyond making things look beautiful.
A custom illustration or brush stroke accent. A handwritten font or bespoke icon. Something we've never seen before that makes your brand one of a kind.

I didn't feel I had a creative bone in my body until I went to hypnotherapy school after college. I listened to a recording every day affirming to myself that I am creative. I picked up photography and drawing soon after.

At Prose Creative Co., we find the space between structure and expression. We bring clarity to the framework while creating room for the unexpected and the personal.
Prose can simply be defined as written word with grammatical structure. Yet within that structure there are infinite creative expressions. Prose can be lyrical, rythmic, expressive, strained. While the structure stays familiar - such as a website, a logo... what lives through it is always its very own.
